Sea trials completed for new Project PV22 ferry for Russia’s Sakhalinlizingflot

Russia's Nevsky Shipyard recently completed conducting sea trials of the new Project PV22 ferry Pavel Leonov.

The vessel will be delivered to customer Sakhalinlizingflot following the conclusion of an ongoing audit.

Pavel Leonov has capacity for 146 passengers, six cars, 24 containers, and assorted cargo including refrigerated and hazardous goods in an 895-cubic-metre hold. The passenger spaces also feature wheelchair access.

The ferry will be operated between Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands.
