Finland's Rauma Marine Constructions has laid the keel of a new shuttle ferry ordered by Estonian owner Tallink Grupp.
MyStar is set to be delivered to the owner at the beginning of 2022, after which it will operate between Helsinki and Tallinn.
The vessel will have a length of 212 metres and capacity for 3,000 passengers and crew plus 1,900 lane metres for freight. A dual-fuel propulsion system that could also run on LNG will deliver a speed of 27 knots.
