Ro-Pax pair ready for delivery

Two Ro-Pax ferries being built by ADA Shipyard for Norwegian ferry operator, Fjord1, are nearing delivery as sea trials begin.

The 75.8-metre vessels have been designed to carry 60 cars and 195 passengers and to allow loading and unloading of passengers and cars via ramps on each end.

There will be a two-month gap before the launch of the second vessel. The vessels will be delivered by July 2016 and September 2016 subsequently.

The first vessel has been launched is now ready to begin sea trials. Construction of the vessels was started in September 2015.
