Norwegian operator The Fjords recently took delivery of the sightseeing vessel Legacy of the Fjords.
The vessel is the second all-electric newbuild to be designed and built for the company by local shipyard Brødrene Aa. The first all-electric vessel, near identical sister Future of the Fjords, was delivered in 2018.
Legacy of the Fjords has a length of 42.23 metres, a beam of 15.5 metres, seating for up to 400 passengers, and two 450kW engines that deliver a cruising speed of 16 knots.
The vessel is scheduled to commence operational sailings between Flåm and Nærøyfjorden on Friday, July 17.
