Philippine operator Starlite Ferries recently took delivery of a high-speed passenger vessel from an unnamed Chinese shipyard.
Named Starlite Sprint 1, the ferry has a length of 41 metres, a beam of six metres, a speed of 24 knots, and capacity for 250 passengers.
The newbuild will initially serve Starlite's route between the provinces of Iloilo and Guimaras in the country's Western Visayas region.
