Helsinki Shipyard has won an order for a new expedition vessel from UK cruise operator Swan Hellenic.
This will be the third vessel that Helsinki Shipyard will build for the same customer.
Design work has already started and construction will commence in the summer of 2021. Delivery is scheduled for the end of 2022.
The 125-metre vessel will feature a 4.6MW diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system with selective catalytic reduction (SCR), a 3MW maximum battery package, and a PC6 ice-strengthened hull.
Up to 192 guests will be accommodated in 96 cabins and suites, many of which will have large balconies.
