The Belgian city of Antwerp will take centre stage for the christening of Hapag-Lloyd's second expedition vessel, Hanseatic Inspiration on October 13.
Antwerp Deputy Mayor Koen Kennis said Hanseatic Inspiration will be the first ocean-going cruise ship to be christened in the city of Antwerp.
Once christened, she will set sail the following day for her 15-day maiden voyage to Tenerife.
The expedition ships have the highest ice class for passenger ships (PC6).
It follows the recent announcement that the naming of sister ship Hanseatic Inspiration Nature will be held in Hamburg on April 12, 2019.
