Louisiana-based Bordelon Marine has completed its third ultra-light intervention vessel (ULIV) following the installation of an SMST 60-tonne knuckle boom crane aboard Connor Bordelon.
Connor Bordelon is chartered to Oceaneering to support inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and light subsea intervention work.
After the addition of the offshore crane with an active-heave compensation system to compensate vertical motions, the former platform supply vessel is capable of handling, lifting and lowering equipment in rough sea conditions.
