Brazil's Belov Engenharia has completed construction on two dive support vessels (DSVs) in a series that the company will operate under charter with Petrobras.
Belov Amaralina and Belov Humaitá are now undergoing client acceptance testing before they begin supporting diving operations and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) surveys.
The Robert Allan Ltd-designed DP2 vessels each have an LOA of 40.5 metres, a beam of 10.98 metres, a crew of 38 including divers, and a speed above 12 knots. Onboard equipment includes an ROV launch and recovery system (LARS) and a decompression chamber.
