UK operator Seacat Services has placed an order for two crewboats in a series to be designed jointly by Bar Technologies and Chartwell Marine.
Seacat Cambria and Seacat Columbia are expected to generate 30 per cent fewer emissions compared to conventional crewboats in operation today.
The newbuildings will also feature a stabilising system that could reduce pitch and roll while lowering vertical acceleration in 2.5-metre wave heights, ensuring greater comfort even at high speeds.
