‘REM Supplier’ – PSV from Drydocks World Nanindah

Alex Baird

The platform supply vessel 'REM Supplier', which was built at Drydocks World's Nanindah shipyard was successfully delivered to REM Offshore in late December. The vessel was built at one of Drydocks World's three yards located on Batam Island, Indonesia.

The UT 755LN-type PSV is equipped with FiFi1 capabilities and a DP2 dynamic positioning system. The vessel uses two MAK 6M25 engines instead of the usual Bergen engine that is characteristic of a Rolls-Royce-designed vessel.

The vessel is classified by DNV, is 73.6 metres long and has a beam of 16 metres. This is the first project that Drydocks World carried out for REM Offshore.
