Reach Subsea charters Olympic Challenger

Baird Maritime

Reach Subsea has chartered the subsea vessel Olympic Challenger for two years, with an option to extend for a year.

The commercial terms of the charter agreement between Reach Subsea and Olympic Subsea are confidential between the parties.

Olympic Challenger is a light construction/remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV) support vessel that accommodates 100 people.

Featuring a 250-tonne AHC crane and 1,000-square-metre cargo deck, the 2008-built, 6,596GT vessel measures 105.9 metres LOA by 21 metres.

The vessel already has two ROVs, which Reach will lease.

Reach will mobilise Olympic Challenger in April and use the vessel for inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and light construction within the oil, gas and renewables sectors.
