McDermott International has been awarded a contract by Qatargas for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) works in the North Field facilities offshore Qatar.
The contract for new facilities includes EPCI services for eight new offshore jackets.
Fabrication will take place at the company's facilities in Batam, Indonesia, while the vessels Derrick Barge 50 (pictured) and Derrick Barge 27 are scheduled to undertake the installation and completions work.
