The Ukrainian Sea Port Authority has announced a tender to build berth No.8 at the Mykolaiv sea port.
The length of the berth will be 220.66 metres, depth near the berth will be 10.5 metres, with the potential of increasing it to 13 metres.
The expected cost of works is UAH317 million (US$11.8 million).
Ukrainian Sea Port Authority Head Raivis Veckagans said the project would include nearby dredging work.
The work will boost the capacity of Mykolaiv Port, which is among the country's three largest ports for freight turnover.
Resident and non-resident companies are invited to bid for the contract until November 20, 2017.
