Russia's Onezhsky Shipbuilding has launched a new self-propelled hopper barge ordered by local operator Rosmorport.
Once completed, Morskaya ("Marine") will have an LOA of 56.1 metres, a moulded beam of 11.2 metres, a draught of 2.92 metres, a hopper capacity of 600 cubic metres, space for three crew, and two 350kW main engines that will deliver a speed of 8.2 knots.
The barge is the first in a series of two that will be operated by Rosmorport out of the Port of Novorossiysk.
