Dutch shipbuilder Royal Niestern Sander has completed sea trials of Geo Ranger, a new diesel-electric hydrographic vessel ordered by local offshore services provider Geo Plus.
The five-day trials were carried out in the River Ems and concluded on Friday, June 19.
Designed in collaboration with Conoship International, the 41- by eight-metre Geo Ranger will be used to provide hydrographic research support for various clients from dredging companies to offshore wind farm operators.
