Danish marine projects company Rohde Nielsen has completed a maintenance dredging campaign at the Port of Aveiro on Portugal's western coast.
The recently completed dredging campaign was carried out on behalf of the Portuguese Environment Agency. This year's work saw the removal of 450,000 cubic metres of sediment.
A new contract has also been awarded, allowing Rohde Nielsen to continue fulfilling the port's maintenance dredging requirements over a span of three years. This new campaign will call for the removal of 1.7 million cubic metres.
