Parkol Marine Engineering has delivered a new scallop boat to West Coast Sea Products of Kirkcudbright, Scotland.
Designed by SC McAllister and Co, Alcedo has an LOA of 33.75 metres, a moulded beam of 8.9 metres, a Mitsubishi S12R MPTAW main engine, and 18 scallop dredges on each side.
The newbuild also has space for eight crew, a mess with galley, berths, a washroom, and a fishroom with capacity for 60 tonnes.
