Norwegian aquaculture company Nordlaks will soon take delivery of a new floating fish farm ordered from China's Yantai CIMC Raffles Shipyard.
Havfarm 1 is currently being transported on Royal Boskalis Westminter's heavy transport vessel Boka Vanguard. It is expected to arrive in Norway in the coming week.
The 430-metre-long fish farm was designed by NSK Ship Design to be able to accommodate up to 10,000 tonnes of salmon, or an estimated two million fish.
