US-based cruise operator Tauck christened the newest addition to its riverboat fleet on Saturday, August 7.
Later that same day, Andorinha departed on its first operational cruise, a 12-day itinerary that covers Portugal's Douro River as well as Lisbon and Madrid.
The vessel can accommodate up tp 84 guests, which is 28 people fewer than each of the other similarly sized riverboats in the Tauck fleet. The guests are housed in 42 cabins, which include twelve 300-square-foot (27-square-metre) suites, twenty 225-square-foot (20-square-metre) staterooms, six 200-square-foot (18-square-metre) cabins, and four 150-square-foot (13-square-metre) cabins.
Amenities include a sun deck with outdoor grill and shaded lounge, an infinity pool, and two restaurants.
