Lockheed Martin and the US Navy have completed the acceptance trials of the future USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul, the eleventh Freedom-class littoral combat ship (LCS).
The trials encompassed testing of all major systems including aviation facilities and facilities for launching and recovering small boats.
Final outfitting will then commence and is expected to conclude in early 2021 just prior to the ship's scheduled delivery to the navy.
