The future HMAS Stalwart, the second Supply-class auxiliary oiler replenishment (AOR) ship built for the Royal Australian Navy, recently arrived at Fleet Base West near Perth following its 30-day delivery voyage from Spain.
Like sister ship HMAS Supply, the future Stalwart utilises the same design used by Spanish shipbuilder Navantia for the Spanish Navy replenishment tanker Cantabria.
The second AOR was crewed by Navantia and Teekay personnel for the delivery voyage. It is now undergoing final outfitting wherein Australian-made components are being installed.
Commissioning is scheduled for 2022.
