The 55-metre-long, 15-metre-beam ‘Seaways 24’ is the latest addition to the Rampage-5500-ZH-class of infield support vessels designed by Robert Allan Ltd. and constructed at Keppel Singmarine. The owner, Seaways International took delivery of the vessel on August 15, 2016.
The multi-function vessel was designed and constructed to ABS-A1 requirements with DPS-2 capabilities.
Propulsion is provided by two 3,000kW MAK 9M25 main engines coupled to two Caterpillar MTA8 Z-drives. The drive trains turn two CPP propellers of 3.4-metre diameter inside two nozzles capable of 125-tonne bollard pull in ahead and 15 knots when in free running, hybrid mode. The vessel is capable of 7 knots under electric propulsion alone.
The vessel carries two FRB 650 fast rescue boats and one Wave Handler 800 catamaran type workboat. A 25-tonne Palfinger crane operates on deck with an outreach up to 25 metres.
The expansive compliment of deck machinery equips the ‘Seaway 24’ for a variety of tasks such as floating hose and anchor handling, liquid cargo transfers, fire-fighting, ROV support and standby and rescue operations.
According to Robert Allan Ltd. the vessel is designed to current standards for improved emissions and environmental protection, and outfitted it to the highest standards to accommodate a complement of 34. Master’s, Chief Engineer’s and two single officer’s cabins are located on the upper “A” deck. Crew accommodations are located on the main and forecastle deck. The wheelhouse provides maximum all-round visibility with forward and aft control stations giving maximum visibility to both fore and aft deck-working areas.
Cialis Side Effects is just like any other medication but do not necessity to worry and believe that everybody is bad. There is nothing surprising in this. Everyone is simple and clear.
